Image Transforms

You can edit image cards on the canvas using non-destructive methods. The original is always preserved, and you can restore it to its original state at any time.

Crop

Show only the area of an image that you want.

Getting Started

  • Press Cmd + P or right-click → Crop
  • To re-edit an already cropped image: right-click → Edit Crop

Controls

  1. A crop overlay appears on top of the image
  2. Drag the handles to adjust the crop boundaries
  3. Drag inside the crop area to reposition it
  4. Click done or press Enter to apply

Non-Destructive Editing

Cropping does not alter the original. The crop region is saved, so you can re-edit or restore the original at any time.

Flip

Flip an image horizontally or vertically.

ShortcutAction
Cmd + HFlip horizontal (left-right)
Cmd + JFlip vertical (top-bottom)

You can also access this via right-click → Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical.

Grayscale

Press Ctrl + G or right-click → Grayscale

Converts the image to black and white. Useful for evaluating composition and tonal balance without the influence of color.

Rotate

Hold Cmd and drag the edge of a card to freely rotate it. Groups can be rotated the same way.

Reset Transform

Right-click → Reset Transform

Resets all transformations (rotation, flip, grayscale) and restores the image to its original state.
